From Mount Aspiring National Park, head southeast on the main road towards Wanaka. Follow the signs for Wanaka, continuing on the State Highway 6 for approximately 40 kilometers. Once you arrive in Wanaka, look for the Wanaka-Luggate Highway (also known as State Highway 8) and turn left. The National Transport & Toy Museum will be on your right at 891 Wanaka-Luggate Highway. There is a parking area available at the museum.
