Walking
If you're starting from Wanaka town center, head south on Ardmore Street towards the lakefront. Continue along the lakefront until you reach the intersection with Dungarvon Street. Turn left onto Dungarvon Street, then take the first right onto Russell Street. Mountain View Backpackers is located at 7 Russell Street, just a short walk from the town center.

Public Transport
From the Wanaka i-SITE Visitor Centre, which is located at 103 Ardmore Street, take the local bus service (if available) towards the Wanaka Station. Get off at the stop nearest to Russell Street. From there, walk a few minutes to reach Mountain View Backpackers at 7 Russell Street.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Wanaka. Start at the Wanaka i-SITE and head south on Ardmore Street towards the lake. Follow the cycle path along the lakefront, then turn left onto Dungarvon Street and take the first right onto Russell Street. Mountain View Backpackers will be on your right at 7 Russell Street.
