Start from the center of Wanaka at the corner of Ardmore Street and Dunmore Street. Head south on Ardmore Street, passing cafes and shops on your left. Continue walking straight for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with Pembroke Park on your right. Keep walking straight; you will see Riverside Park entrance signs ahead.

If you have a bike, start at the Wanaka i-SITE at 103 Ardmore Street. From there, bike south along Ardmore Street for approximately 1 kilometer. As you approach Pembroke Park, look for signs leading towards Riverside Park on your right. Follow the bike path that runs alongside the lake, which will take you directly to Riverside Park.

Though Wanaka has limited public transport, you can take a local shuttle or bus service. Check with the Wanaka i-SITE for the latest schedules. Request to be dropped off at the Wanaka Lakefront, which is near Ardmore Street. From there, walk south along Ardmore Street for about 300 meters to find the entrance to Riverside Park.
