From the Napier city center, head to the nearest bus stop located at Marine Parade. You can catch the 'N' bus service towards Taradale. Ensure you have a bus schedule handy, as buses may not run frequently. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the Taradale stop on Gloucester Street. After disembarking, walk east for approximately 5 minutes until you reach 319 Gloucester Street, where the Gypsy Rose Tea Museum is located.

If you're close to the city center, you can also walk to the Gypsy Rose Tea Museum. Start at the Napier i-SITE Visitor Centre on Marine Parade. Head northeast on Marine Parade, then turn right onto Tennyson Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, where you will take the second exit onto Gloucester Street. Follow Gloucester Street for about 2 kilometers, and you will find the museum at 319 Gloucester Street. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Napier. Start at the Napier city center and head east towards Marine Parade. Follow the boardwalk along the beach until you reach the end of the promenade. Continue onto the shared bike path that leads to Taradale. Follow the path along the railway line and then turn onto Gloucester Street. The museum will be on your right at 319 Gloucester Street. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes.
