If you are starting from Napier's city center, begin by walking towards Marine Parade. Head east on Emerson Street, and then turn right onto Marine Parade. Continue walking along Marine Parade until you reach the intersection with Tennyson Street. Cross Tennyson Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hastings Street. Turn left onto Hastings Street and walk until you reach the intersection with the Expressway. Cross the Expressway to continue on Hastings Street. After crossing, continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Onekawa Drive. Follow Onekawa Drive until you see Waterworth Avenue on your right. Turn right onto Waterworth Avenue, and Maraenui Park will be on your left.
