If you're starting from the Napier i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 100 Marine Parade, begin your journey by heading south towards 1 Marine Parade. After about 5 minutes of walking, turn left onto Tennyson Street. Continue straight for approximately 10 minutes. The Gold of the Kowhai is located at 3 Tennyson Street on your right, a beautiful sculpture that’s hard to miss.

From the Napier i-SITE Visitor Centre, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Marine Parade. Take the Bus Route 12 or any bus heading towards Napier South. Get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of Tennyson Street and Hastings Street. From there, walk south on Tennyson Street for about 5 minutes, and you'll find The Gold of the Kowhai at 3 Tennyson Street on your left.
