Walking
From the center of Paihia, head towards the beach and walk along the waterfront promenade. Follow the signs to Waitangi. This scenic route will take you along the coastline and is approximately a 30-minute walk. Continue on the main road leading to Waitangi. Once you reach the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, look for the signs directing you to Lookout Point. The Lookout Point is located a short distance further up the hill from the Treaty Grounds.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Paihia. Start by heading towards the beachfront promenade and follow the same path as pedestrians towards Waitangi. The bike ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Upon arriving at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, you can park your bicycle at the designated area and walk the short distance to Lookout Point, following the signs.

Check for local bus services that operate from Paihia to Waitangi. Board the bus at the Paihia bus stop and ask the driver to drop you off at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Once you get off, you will need to walk for about 10 minutes uphill to reach Lookout Point. Follow the signs that indicate the direction of Lookout Point from the Treaty Grounds.
