Getting There

Walking
From the center of Paihia, head towards the Paihia Wharf. Walk along the waterfront promenade until you reach the end of the wharf area. Continue along the beach pathway, which will lead you towards the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. As you approach the Treaty Grounds, look for signs directing you to Haruru Falls Track. You’ll need to cross the bridge over the Waitangi River. Once you cross the bridge, follow the path that leads to the entrance of the Haruru Falls Track.

Public Transport (Bus)
Catch the local bus from Paihia to Waitangi. Buses frequently run from the Paihia bus stop near the I-site Visitor Centre. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds stop. From there, follow the signs to the Haruru Falls Track, which is a short walk from the bus stop. You will need to cross the bridge over the Waitangi River to access the track.
