If you are traveling by car, head towards Waitangi from your current location in Northland. Use State Highway 1 (SH1) and follow the signs towards Paihia. Once you reach Paihia, continue on the main road until you see the signs for Waitangi. Turn onto Waitangi Road, and follow it until you reach the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, where the Maori War Canoe is located. There is parking available at the Treaty Grounds, but be aware that there may be a parking fee of approximately NZD 5-10.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Kerikeri or Whangarei to Paihia.
