Walking
From the Paihia Wharf, head southeast on Marsden Road towards the intersection with Williams Road. You can enjoy the scenic views along the waterfront as you walk. Continue along Marsden Road as it becomes Te Karuwha Parade. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by the Waitangi Treaty Grounds on your left, which is a great opportunity to learn about New Zealand's history. Keep walking until you reach the Waitangi One Way Bridge, which will be on your left side. The bridge is situated along Te Karuwha Parade.

From Paihia, you can catch the local bus service that operates towards Waitangi. Look for the bus stop near the Paihia Wharf. Board the bus heading to Waitangi and inform the driver that you wish to get off at the Waitangi One Way Bridge. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Once you get off, you can walk a short distance to the bridge which is located on Te Karuwha Parade.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Paihia. Head towards Marsden Road and follow the same route as if you were walking, riding along the waterfront.
