Getting There

Walking
Start your journey at Queenstown's central bus station. From there, head towards Camp Street and take a right onto Shotover Street. Continue on Shotover Street until you reach the intersection with Frankton Road. Cross Frankton Road and follow the pedestrian path along Lake Wakatipu, enjoying the views. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the junction with State Highway 6. Turn right onto the highway and follow it for approximately 3 kilometers, where you will arrive at the base of the Crown Range Road. The summit marker is located at the top of the Crown Range Road. Note that this part of the journey is challenging as it involves elevation gain, so be prepared for a steep walk.

Begin your bike ride from Queenstown's central area and head towards the Frankton Track, which follows the lake. Once you reach the junction with State Highway 6, continue biking along the highway.
