Morning Star Reserve: A Natural Haven in Queenstown

Getting There

• Bus

  From Queenstown town center, head to the Queenstown Bus Terminal located at 38 Shotover Street. Catch the 'Shotover' bus towards Arthurs Point. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Request the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Morning Star Reserve. Once you get off, walk along the road towards the reserve, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

  If you are in the central area of Queenstown, you can walk to Morning Star Reserve. Start at the Queenstown waterfront and head towards the Queenstown Gardens. Continue along the Frankton Track, which will take you along the lakefront. After about 30 minutes, you will reach the intersection with the road leading to Arthurs Point. Follow the signs to Arthurs Point, and after approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Morning Star Reserve. This route is scenic and offers great views of the surrounding area.

  If you prefer a more direct approach, consider taking a taxi or rideshare service from anywhere in Queenstown. Simply provide the driver with the address 'Arthurs Point, Queenstown 9371' or ask for Morning Star Reserve. The journey will take roughly 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. This is the most convenient option if you are traveling with luggage or prefer not to walk.
