Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Queenstown Mall, which is the central hub of the town. Head southeast on Cow Street towards the Queenstown Gardens. Continue straight until you reach the corner of Camp Street. Turn left onto Camp Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with Shotover Street. Cross Shotover Street and continue straight onto Stanley Street. Follow Stanley Street, which will eventually turn into Frankton Road. Continue walking until you reach the One Mile Powerhouse, located at approximately 1.5 km from the Mall. Look for the historical landmark signage on your left.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Queenstown Mall, walk to the nearby bus stop at Camp Street. Board the bus heading towards Frankton. You will want to get off at the One Mile Powerhouse stop, which is usually announced by the driver. After disembarking, the powerhouse will be within a short walking distance. Follow the footpath along Frankton Road, and you'll see the One Mile Powerhouse on your right.
