Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre, head south on Fenton Street towards Arawa Street. Continue straight on Arawa Street, which will become Kuirau Street. Follow Kuirau Street for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see Kuirau Park on your left, with the Mud Pools located within the park's grounds.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    Catch the local bus from the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre or any nearby bus stop. Look for a bus that goes towards Kuirau Park. The bus will take you along Fenton Street and Arawa Street. Get off at the closest bus stop to Kuirau Street. From there, walk approximately 200 meters to Kuirau Park, which will be on your left side.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre. Ride south on Fenton Street, then turn left onto Arawa Street. Continue straight until Arawa Street changes into Kuirau Street. Kuirau Park will be on your left after about 1.5 kilometers. There are cycle paths available along these routes.
