Getting There

• Bus

  From the Rotorua Central Bus Station, board the 'Skyline Gondola' shuttle bus. This shuttle typically operates every 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you are heading to Skyline Rotorua. The bus will take you directly to the entrance of Skyline Rotorua, located at Utuhina, Rotorua 3015.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber. Simply request a ride to Skyline Rotorua, Utuhina, Rotorua 3015. The journey from the city center should take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy walking, you can make your way to Skyline Rotorua on foot. Start from the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre located on Fenton Street. Head south on Fenton Street, then turn right onto Hinemaru Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Tarawera Road. Turn left onto Tarawera Road and follow it until you see the signs for Skyline Rotorua. The walk is about 3.5 km and will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops. Start at the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre and head south on Fenton Street. Turn right onto Hinemaru Street, then left onto Tarawera Road, following the cycle paths. Continue cycling until you reach Skyline Rotorua. This route is approximately 3.5 km and should take around 15-20 minutes.
