If you're travelling by car, start from Invercargill and head south on State Highway 1 (SH1). Continue driving for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for State Highway 99 towards Riverton. Follow SH99 for around 30 kilometers, then turn onto the Waikawa-Curio Bay Road. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach 601 Waikawa-Curio Bay Road, where The Headland is located. Parking is available on-site.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Invercargill to Riverton. Once you arrive at Riverton, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you the remaining 20 kilometers to The Headland at 601 Waikawa-Curio Bay Road.
