Walking
If you're in Tauranga city center, start by heading towards the waterfront. Walk along the Strand until you reach the intersection with Devonport Road. Turn left onto Devonport Road and continue walking until you reach the bus station (Tauranga Transport Centre) on your right. From there, catch a bus heading to Mount Maunganui. The bus will take you to Maunganui Road. Once you get off, walk straight down Maunganui Road for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Coronation Park, located on your left.

From the Tauranga Transport Centre, take the Bayhopper bus route 30 towards Mount Maunganui. The bus will take you directly to Maunganui Road. Get off at the stop closest to Coronation Park, which is usually the stop called 'Maunganui Road - Coronation Park'. From there, walk a short distance along Maunganui Road towards the park, which will be on your left-hand side.

Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike in Tauranga. Start at the waterfront and follow the cycle path along the coast towards Mount Maunganui. Continue on the cycle path until you reach Maunganui Road. Turn left onto Maunganui Road and ride for a few minutes until you see Coronation Park on your left. There are bike racks available at the park for you to secure your bike.
