Walking
If you are in the Tauranga city center, start your journey from the Tauranga i-SITE Visitor Information Centre located on Willow Street. Head south on Willow Street towards the waterfront, and continue straight until you reach the intersection with The Strand. Turn left onto The Strand and walk along the waterfront until you reach the intersection with Devonport Road. Cross over and continue along The Strand until you reach the end of the street. From there, turn right onto Hamilton Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with Arundel Street. Continue on Arundel Street, and then turn left onto Tahuia Street. Child Friendly Places New Zealand will be located on your right. The total walk should take approximately 25-30 minutes.

From the Tauranga city center, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch a bus that is heading towards the suburb of Otumoetai. Look for the number 3 or 3A bus. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at Otumoetai Primary School. From the bus stop, walk down Otumoetai Road heading west until you reach the intersection with Tahuia Street. Turn left onto Tahuia Street, and Child Friendly Places New Zealand will be located a short distance ahead on your right. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and the walk from the bus stop will take about 5 minutes.
