Start from the center of Wanaka at the Wanaka Station Park. Head southeast on Helwick Street towards Orbital Drive, then turn left onto Orbital Drive. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with State Highway 6. Cross the highway and follow the footpath along the road for approximately 2.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with McNeill Road.
