Walking
From the center of Wanaka, head east on Ardmore Street towards the lakefront. Follow the lake until you reach the Wanaka Tree area, then take the footpath leading to the main road, Cardrona Valley Road. Turn left onto Cardrona Valley Road and continue walking for about 30 minutes. The Cardrona Bra Fence will be visible on your right side, just before you reach the Cardrona Hotel.

Biking
If you have a bike, start from the Wanaka i-SITE Visitor Centre on Ardmore Street. Head east towards the lake and follow the cycle path along the lakefront. Continue on the cycleway that leads to Cardrona Valley Road. Once you reach Cardrona Valley Road, turn left and bike for approximately 7 km. The Cardrona Bra Fence will be on your right. This ride is scenic and takes around 25 minutes.

Public Bus
Take the bus from the Wanaka Bus Stop located on Ardmore Street. Look for the bus that goes to Cardrona. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Cardrona stop, walk back along Cardrona Valley Road for about 5 minutes. The Cardrona Bra Fence will be on your left side just after passing the Cardrona Hotel.
