If you're traveling by car, head towards Arrowtown from Queenstown. Start on State Highway 6 (SH6) heading northeast. After about 20 minutes, take the exit towards Arrowtown/SH89. Continue on this road for approximately 5 kilometers. Once you reach Arrowtown, follow the signs to Buckingham Street. The Historic Arrowtown Chinese Settlement is located at Buckingham Street, Arrowtown 9302. There is parking available nearby, but be mindful of any time restrictions.

For public transport, catch a bus from Queenstown to Arrowtown. The bus service, operated by Connectabus, runs regularly between these two locations. You can find the bus stop near the Queenstown i-SITE. The journey takes around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Arrowtown, disembark at the Arrowtown bus stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the Historic Arrowtown Chinese Settlement located on Buckingham Street. Just follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed.

It should take you about 10 minutes to reach the historic site from the main area of Arrowtown.
