Starting from the Wanaka i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 103 Ardmore Street, head south on Ardmore Street towards the lake. Continue walking until you reach the Wanaka Lakefront. Here, you'll find a scenic path that runs along the shore. Enjoy the views as you proceed. After approximately 15 minutes, you'll reach the end of the lakefront path. At this point, you should see signs for the Deep Canyon tour operators, who can provide you with the necessary transport to the canyon itself.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Wanaka. Starting at 99 Ardmore Street, head southeast towards the lake. Follow the path along the lakefront for about 2 km until you reach the end of the lake. There, you will find the Deep Canyon tour operators. They will help you arrange transport to the canyon.
