If you are starting from the Wellington Waterfront, head east along the waterfront promenade until you reach the intersection with Jervois Quay. Continue walking along Jervois Quay until you reach the main intersection with Customhouse Quay. Turn left onto Customhouse Quay and walk straight until you see Lambton Quay. Turn right onto Lambton Quay and walk north. After a few blocks, you will see the entrance to the Cable Car Station on your left.
