Walking
If you're starting from the Wellington Central train station, exit the station and head towards Featherston Street. Turn left onto Featherston Street and walk straight for about 5 minutes. Then, turn right onto Jervois Quay. Continue straight for another 5 minutes, and you will find Wellington Museum located at 3 Jervois Quay on your left.

Bus
From the Wellington Central bus interchange, take any bus that goes towards the waterfront area. You can catch the bus from the interchange located at 1-3 Harris Street. Get off at the Jervois Quay bus stop. Once you get off, walk towards the waterfront along Jervois Quay for about 2 minutes, and you will see Wellington Museum at 3 Jervois Quay.

Cable Car
If you are near the Wellington Cable Car station, take the cable car to the top of the hill. Once you arrive, walk down through the Botanical Gardens towards the city center. This will take about 15-20 minutes. As you approach the city, head towards Lambton Quay, then turn left onto Jervois Quay. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Wellington Museum at 3 Jervois Quay.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start at the Wellington Waterfront. Head south along the waterfront path, and follow the signs for Jervois Quay. After about a 10-minute ride, you will arrive at Wellington Museum, which is located at 3 Jervois Quay. There are bike racks available for parking your bicycle.
