Walking
If you are starting from the Wellington Central Business District (CBD), head towards the waterfront by walking down Lambton Quay. As you walk along Lambton Quay, you will pass the iconic Wellington Waterfront on your right. Continue until you reach the intersection with Jervois Quay. Cross Jervois Quay and follow the signs directing you towards the waterfront. You can enjoy the scenic views of the harbor as you walk along the promenade.

If you are near the Te Papa Museum, exit the museum and head towards the waterfront by walking directly along the waterfront path. You will find the walkway that leads to the Wellington Waterfront Walk. This path will take you along the beautiful harbor, where you can enjoy stunning views and art installations along the way.

From the Wellington Railway Station, exit the station and head towards Bunny Street. Turn left and walk down Bunny Street until you reach the waterfront. Cross over to the promenade, and you will be able to join the Wellington Waterfront Walk. This route is also quite scenic, offering views of the city and the harbor.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you are further out, you can take a bus to the Wellington waterfront area. Board a bus heading towards the CBD and get off at a stop near Te Papa or Lambton Quay. From either location, follow the walking instructions provided above to reach the Wellington Waterfront Walk.

If you have a bike, you can ride along the designated cycle paths that lead to the waterfront. From the CBD, follow the bike lanes down Victoria Street and continue towards the waterfront area. There are bike racks available to lock your bike once you arrive at the Wellington Waterfront Walk.
