From Kelburn, head down to Upland Road and turn left onto it. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kelburn Parade. Turn left onto Kelburn Parade and follow the road as it winds down the hill. After about 15 minutes, you will arrive at the intersection with Victoria Street. Cross Victoria Street and continue down to Jervois Quay. You will see the Wellington Museum located at 3 Jervois Quay on your right.

You can catch the number 14 bus from the Kelburn bus stop (located on Upland Road). The bus runs regularly and takes about 10-15 minutes to reach the Wellington Central bus stop.
