If you are starting from the Wellington Central Business District (CBD), head south on Willis Street towards the intersection with Ghuznee Street. Turn right onto Ghuznee Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Taranaki Street. At Taranaki Street, turn left and then take the first right onto Vivian Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Cambridge Terrace. Turn left onto Cambridge Terrace, and after a short walk, turn right onto Nairn Street. Continue walking until you reach Nairn Street Cottage at 68 Nairn Street, Mount Cook.

From the Wellington CBD, catch a bus towards Mount Cook. Look for bus routes 1, 2, or 3. You can catch these buses from stops along Victoria Street or other designated bus stops in the CBD. From there, walk south on Nairn Street, and you will arrive at Nairn Street Cottage located at 68 Nairn Street.
