If you are in Thorndon, head towards the intersection of Tinakori Road and Mulgrave Street. From the intersection, walk down Mulgrave Street heading towards the waterfront. Old St Paul's is located at 34 Mulgrave Street, just a short 10-minute walk from the intersection. Look for the historic wooden church, which is an impressive sight and hard to miss.

Bus
From Thorndon, you can also take a bus to Old St Paul's. Head to the nearest bus stop on Tinakori Road and catch a bus heading towards the city center. Make sure to check the bus schedule on the Wellington Regional Council website or at the bus stop. Get off at the stop on Mulgrave Street. Old St Paul's is a short walk from there, located at 34 Mulgrave Street. Note that bus fares vary, so have some change or a Snapper card ready.

Tram
Another option is to use the Wellington Cable Car. While it does not go directly to Old St Paul's, you can take the cable car from Lambton Quay to Kelburn, then walk down to the city and head towards Mulgrave Street. The walk from the cable car terminal to Old St Paul's will take about 20 minutes. This route offers beautiful views of the city. The Cable Car fare is approximately NZD 4.50 one way.
