Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the Whanganui city center, start at the Whanganui Riverbank. Head north along the river until you reach the intersection with Victoria Avenue. Turn left onto Victoria Avenue and walk for about 500 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the intersection with Guyton Street, turn right. Cooks Gardens Motor Lodge is located at 170 Guyton Street, just a short walk down on your right.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the Whanganui Bus Station, take a bus that heads towards the CBD. Make sure to get off at the nearest stop to Guyton Street, which is usually at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Guyton Street. From there, walk south on Guyton Street for about 200 meters, and you will find Cooks Gardens Motor Lodge at 170 Guyton Street on your left.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the central Whanganui area. Start at the Whanganui Riverfront and cycle along the river path until you reach the bridge that crosses over the river. Continue onto Victoria Avenue and head north until you reach Guyton Street. Turn right onto Guyton Street, and Cooks Gardens Motor Lodge will be located at 170 Guyton Street on your right after about 200 meters.
