Getting There

Start from the Whangarei Town Basin. Head south on the main street, Bank Street, until you reach the intersection with Ruatangata Road. Turn left onto Ruatangata Road and continue walking. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn right onto Parihaka Road, which leads you directly towards Mount Parihaka. Keep walking straight until you reach the entrance of the Mount Parihaka Reserve.
