Start at the nearest Light Rail station. If you're in Uptown Charlotte, you can catch the LYNX Blue Line at the 7th Street Station. Take the train heading towards I-485 South. Ride for approximately 5 stops until you reach the East/West station. Once you arrive, exit the train and follow the signs for the park exit.

You can also take the CATS bus to reach Carolina Thread Trail. Look for the Number 11 or Number 16 bus, which both have stops near the trail. If you're at the Charlotte Transportation Center, catch the bus and ride until you reach the Park Road stop. From there, walk south for about 10 minutes along Park Road until you reach the Carolina Thread Trail entrance at 2400 Park Rd Suite 1.
