Public Transit - Light Rail
If you are near the center of Charlotte, start by heading to the nearest light rail station, either at the 7th Street Station or the Trade Street Station. Board the Blue Line heading south towards I-485/South Blvd. Stay on the train for about 15 minutes until you reach the East/West Blvd Station. Exit the train and transfer to the CATS bus route 11 (which is conveniently located just outside the station). Board the bus heading towards the SouthPark Mall. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the bus stop at the intersection of South Boulevard and Hermitage Road. From there, it's just a short 5-minute walk to The Duke Mansion, located at 400 Hermitage Rd. Simply head east on Hermitage Road until you reach your destination.

From the center of Charlotte, find the nearest CATS bus stop. Take bus route 11 towards SouthPark Mall. This bus will take you through Myers Park. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of South Boulevard and Hermitage Road. Disembark and walk east along Hermitage Road for about 0.3 miles. You will see The Duke Mansion at 400 Hermitage Rd on your left.
