From the center of Uptown Charlotte, head east on E Trade St towards S Tryon St. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10 minutes). You will pass by the Bank of America Corporate Center on your left. Once you reach the intersection with S McDowell St, turn left. After a short walk, turn right onto E 8th St. The Mural House is located at 1812 E 8th St, on your left side.

Public Transportation - Light Rail
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Charlotte Light Rail. From any station in Uptown, board the Lynx Blue Line heading to I-485/South Blvd. Get off at the 7th Street Station. From there, walk east on E 7th St for about 0.3 miles (approximately 7 minutes) until you reach S McDowell St. Turn left and continue until you reach E 8th St. Turn right, and The Mural House will be at 1812 E 8th St on your left. Note that the light rail costs $2.20 for a one-way trip.

You can also take the CATS bus service. Locate the nearest bus stop in Uptown and take Bus 11 (Eastland) or Bus 12 (Eastway) from Trade St. Get off at the stop at E 7th St and S McDowell St. From there, walk east on E 7th St for about 0.2 miles (approximately 5 minutes) until you reach S McDowell St. Turn left and walk until you reach E 8th St, then turn right. The Mural House will be at 1812 E 8th St on your left. Check the CATS website for the bus fare, which is typically $2.20.
