From the Grandfather Mountain entrance, drive south on NC-105 S for approximately 5 miles. Turn right onto NC-181 S and continue for about 10 miles. You will then reach a fork; keep left to stay on NC-181 S. After another 5 miles, turn left onto Paddys Creek Road. Follow this road for about 2 miles until you arrive at the Paddys Creek Area.

Start by taking the local bus service from the Grandfather Mountain area to Linville. Once in Linville, transfer to the bus heading towards Nebo. Request a stop at Paddys Creek Road. From the bus stop, it is a short 0.5-mile walk to the Paddys Creek Area. Follow the signs along the road.

If you are already within Grandfather Mountain and prefer to walk, head towards the main park entrance. From there, follow the path that leads to the main road, NC-105 S. Carefully cross the road and follow the sidewalk along NC-105 S for about 1 mile until you reach Paddys Creek Road. Turn left onto Paddys Creek Road and walk for another 0.5 miles to reach the Paddys Creek Area.
