If you are driving, start by getting onto the E6 highway. From Oslo, take the E6 towards Trondheim and exit at the sign for 'Kolbotn'. Continue on Rv 150 (Kolbotnbakken) until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rv 155 towards 'Svartskog'. Follow Rv 155 for about 8 kilometers. Turn left onto Roald Amundsens vei. After a few hundred meters, you will find Uranienborg at Roald Amundsens vei 192, 1420 Svartskog. Parking is available near the museum.

For public transportation, start at the nearest train station in Akershus. Take a train towards Oslo S (Oslo Central Station). At Oslo S, transfer to the Metro Line 3 (to Mortensrud).
