From Bryggen, head towards the waterfront and walk along the harbor promenade. Continue walking until you reach the end of Bryggen, where you will see a large open space. At this point, you should see Bergenhus Fortress directly ahead. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from most locations within Bryggen. As you approach, you will notice the fortress walls and the iconic Håkon's Hall.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a bus to a nearby stop. From Bryggen, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Bryggen' (located on the main road). Board bus number 3 or 4 in the direction of 'Nygard' and get off at the 'Festningskaien' stop. The bus ride takes about 5 minutes, and the fortress is just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the local bus schedules for timings. A single ticket costs around 38 NOK.
