From Nordnes, start by heading south towards the waterfront. Make your way to the promenade along the harbor, which is called 'Bryggen'. Continue walking along the waterfront, enjoying the views of the harbor and the historical buildings. After about 15 minutes of walking, look for signs directing you toward Bergenhus Fortress. The entrance to the fortress is located near the end of the promenade, just past the Hanseatic Museum.

If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch a bus from Nordnes. Head to the nearest bus stop on Nordnesbakken. Take bus number 3 or 4 towards 'Bergen Sentrum'. The journey will take about 5 minutes. Get off at the 'Flesland' stop, which is a short walk from Bergenhus Fortress. From the bus stop, head toward the fortress, which is visible from the stop.
