From the center of Fredrikstad, start at the bus station (Fredrikstad Busstasjon). Head southwest on Storgata towards Torvbyen. Continue straight onto Gressvikveien. After about 1 km, turn right onto Toldbodgaten. Balaklava is located at Toldbodgaten 39B, 1632 Gamle Fredrikstad, which will be on your left after approximately 500 meters.

From any location in Fredrikstad, make your way to the nearest bus stop that serves routes towards Gamle Fredrikstad. Take bus line 3 or 4 that goes towards Gamlebyen. Get off at the stop 'Gamlebyen'. From there, walk northwest on Toldbodgaten for about 300 meters. Balaklava will be located at Toldbodgaten 39B, on your right.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Fredrikstad and ride south towards the old town. Take Storgata and continue onto Gressvikveien. After about 1 km, turn onto Toldbodgaten. Follow this road for approximately 500 meters until you reach Balaklava at Toldbodgaten 39B.
