Start at the Fredrikstad Bus Station, which is centrally located. From the station, take bus number 10 towards 'Kråkerøy'. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Habornveien' stop. Once you exit the bus, head east on Habornveien. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach a small trail entrance on your left that leads into the forest. Follow this path, and you will soon arrive at Fugletittertårn.

If you prefer to walk from the city center, start at the Fredrikstad Cathedral. Head south on Storgata, then take a right onto Rådhusgata. Continue until you reach the river, then follow the pedestrian path along the riverbank. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight on Habornveien for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Fugletittertårn directing you into the forest area, where the tower is located.
