Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes, and get off at the stop named 'Kråkerøy Skole'. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Hvalerporten.

After getting off at 'Kråkerøy Skole', head south on Skoleveien street, then turn left onto Solberggata. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Hvalerveien. Turn right onto Hvalerveien, and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs for Hvalerporten as you approach. The walk is scenic, with views of the surrounding nature.

As an alternative, from the Fredrikstad Bus Station, you can also take a short bus ride to the ferry terminal (Bus Number 101 to 'Fergekaia'). Once there, take the ferry to Hvaler.
