Start from the Fredrikstad city center, near the Fredrikstad Cathedral. Head south on Storgata and continue straight until you reach the waterfront. Follow the path along the river towards the east until you reach Gressvikveien. Turn left onto Gressvikveien and continue walking until you reach the bus stop 'Gressvik'. From there, take bus number 4 towards 'Kråkerøy'. Get off at the 'Isegran' stop. From the bus stop, walk a short distance following the signs towards Isegran fort, which is located at Minder-alvs vei 2, 1672 Kråkerøy.

If you have a bicycle, start from the Fredrikstad city center and head towards the waterfront. Ride along the river heading east, enjoying the scenic views. Follow the bike path along the waterfront until you reach Gressvikveien. Turn left onto Gressvikveien and continue cycling until you reach Kråkerøy. Look out for signs indicating Isegran fort.
