From the center of Fredrikstad, head to the nearest bus stop at 'Fredrikstad Busstasjon'. Take bus number 110 towards 'Gressvik'. The bus will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Gressvik Rådhus'. From the bus stop, head east on 'Gressvikveien' for about 300 meters, then turn left onto 'Hubuktaveien'. Continue walking along 'Hubuktaveien' for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Torgauten fort. The fort will be on your left.

If you prefer to walk from the center of Fredrikstad, start at the main square, 'Stortorget'. Head towards 'Borgarsyssel Museum' and follow 'Oslo Gate' for about 1 kilometer. Continue straight until you reach 'Gressvikveien'. Turn left onto 'Gressvikveien' and walk for another kilometer until you reach 'Gressvik Rådhus'. From there, follow 'Hubuktaveien' for about 1.5 kilometers, and Torgauten fort will be on your left.
