Walking
From the center of Gamlebyen, head east on St. Marie gate towards the river. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with W. Blakstads gate. Turn left onto W. Blakstads gate and walk for about 500 meters. You will see the entrance to Kongsten fort on your right. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer using public transport, you can take bus number 1 from the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road near Gamlebyen. Board the bus in the direction of 'Kongsten'. After about 3 stops (approximately 5 minutes), get off at the 'Kongsten' stop. From there, it is a short walk (about 300 meters) along W. Blakstads gate to the fort's entrance. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for the most accurate times.
