Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you're starting from Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), take the T-bane (subway) Line 1 towards Frognerseteren or Line 2 towards Ellingsrudåsen. Get off at the stop 'Jernbanetorget'. From there, transfer to Tram Line 18 or 19 towards Rikshospitalet and get off at 'St. Olavs plass'. Once you exit the tram, walk down Bislett towards Pilestredet, then turn left onto Tullinløkka. Follow the road as it bends, and you will reach Middelalderparken in approximately 10 minutes.

    From Karl Johans gate, proceed towards the National Theatre. Cross the bridge over the Aker River and continue straight. You will pass the Oslo Opera House on your right. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the Akershus Fortress. From there, head towards the east side of the fortress, and you'll find Middelalderparken just a short stroll away.

    From Oslo Central Station, walk to the nearby bus terminal. Take Bus 30 towards 'Mortensrud'. Get off at 'Rosenborg' bus stop. Once you step off the bus, walk down Bislett towards Tullinløkka. After about 5-10 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Middelalderparken.
