Start your journey by taking the Oslo Metro (T-bane) Line 1 (Frognerseteren) from any central metro station such as Nationaltheatret or Oslo S. Travel towards Frognerseteren and get off at the 'Voksenlia' station, which is approximately a 20-minute ride. From the Voksenlia station, exit and walk towards the nearby hiking trails, following signs that lead towards Trollvannet.

Once you have exited the Voksenlia station, take the path that leads towards the forest trails. Follow the marked hiking signs (look for blue markers) that direct you to Trollvannet. The hike is approximately 2 kilometers and should take around 30-40 minutes. It is a scenic route with beautiful views, so take your time and enjoy the surroundings.

Alternatively, from the Oslo city center, you can take Bus 41 from 'Jernbanetorget' towards 'Sognsvann'. Get off at the 'Sognsvann' stop. From there, follow the walking path around Sognsvann lake towards the forest trails leading up to Trollvannet. This route is also approximately 2.5 kilometers and will take around 40-50 minutes of walking.
