Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're in Frogner, head towards Frognerparken (Frogner Park). From the main entrance of the park, walk straight towards the Vigeland Sculpture Park. Once you reach the park, continue walking through it until you reach the end of the park near Kirkeveien. Turn left onto Kirkeveien and walk for about 10 minutes. You will see signs directing you to the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History (Norsk Folkemuseum), which is located at Museumsveien 10.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From Frogner, you can take Tram Line 12 from the nearest tram stop, Frogner Plass. Board the tram heading towards Majorstuen. After two stops, get off at the 'Vigeland Park' stop. From there, follow the walking directions through Frognerparken as described above to reach the museum.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    You can also take Bus Number 30 from the nearest bus stop in Frogner. Board the bus heading towards 'Majorstuen'. After about 5 minutes, get off at the stop 'Norsk Folkemuseum'. The museum is just a short walk from the bus stop, following the signs to Museumsveien.
