Getting There

  • Walking

    From Majorstuen, head towards the Majorstuen Metro Station. You can access the station from any part of Majorstuen as it is centrally located. Once at the station, take the Metro Line 1 (Frognerseteren) and travel for two stops to 'Nationaltheatret'. Exit the train and follow the signs to the exit. After exiting, walk straight towards the river, and then take a left. Continue walking along the riverbank until you reach the intersection with Nobels gate. Turn right onto Nobels gate, and after a short walk, you will see the entrance to Vigeland Park on your left.

  • Bus

    From Majorstuen, walk to the bus stop at Bogstadveien/Skovveien. Take bus number 20 or 30 towards 'Storo'. After three stops, get off at 'Nobels gate'. When you exit the bus, walk a few meters towards Nobels gate. The entrance to Vigeland Park will be directly ahead. Note that a single bus ticket costs around 38 NOK, which you can purchase at the bus stop or via the Ruter app.

  • Tram

    Head to the nearest tram stop in Majorstuen. Board tram number 12 towards 'Majorstuen'. After two stops, alight at 'Frogner Plass'. From the tram stop, walk straight down the road, and you will reach Vigeland Park after about a 10-minute walk. The tram ticket costs approximately 38 NOK and can be purchased at the stop or through the Ruter app.
