If you are in the city center of Tromsø, start by heading towards Storgata, the main shopping street. Walk towards the north until you reach the harbor area. Continue walking along the waterfront until you see the bridge, Tromsøbrua, that connects the mainland to Tromsøya island. Cross the Tromsøbrua bridge, which is about 1,100 meters long. Once you reach Tromsøya, you can explore various attractions on the island.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the center of Tromsø, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take bus line 26 or 27 towards Tromsøya. Buses are frequent, approximately every 30 minutes. The bus will take you directly to Tromsøya, where you can disembark at the nearest stop, which is called 'Tromsøya'. From there, you can walk to various points of interest on the island.
