If you are near Fountain Square in Downtown Cincinnati, head east towards 5th Street. Turn right on 5th Street and walk for about 0.3 miles (approximately 6 minutes). You will pass several shops and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Freedom Way. The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is located at 50 E Freedom Way, just ahead on your left, right next to the Ohio River.

Public Transportation - Streetcar
You can take the Cincinnati Bell Connector Streetcar from any stop in Downtown Cincinnati. Board the streetcar at the nearest stop and ride towards the 'Smale Riverfront Park' stop. The streetcar ride costs $1 per trip (exact change required). Once you get off at Smale Riverfront Park, walk east along Freedom Way for about 5 minutes, and you will see the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center on your right at 50 E Freedom Way.

If you prefer to take a bus, check the Metro bus schedule for routes that service Downtown Cincinnati. Routes 11 and 19 frequently serve the area. Get off at the 'Freedom Way & Elm Street' stop. From there, walk east on Freedom Way for about 2 minutes, and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center will be on your right at 50 E Freedom Way. The bus fare is $1.75 for a single ride.
