Car
From any location in Lake Erie Islands, you'll need to take a ferry to the mainland. The most common ferry is the Jet Express, which operates from Put-in-Bay or Kelleys Island to Port Clinton. Once you arrive at Port Clinton, get onto OH-2 W towards Toledo. Follow OH-2 W for approximately 40 miles, then take the exit for I-75 S toward Dayton. Continue on I-75 S for about 10 miles, then take exit 201A for OH-25 N toward Woodville Rd. After about 1 mile, turn left onto N St Clair St. The Toledo History Museum will be on your left at 425 N St Clair St, Toledo, OH 43604.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, first take the Jet Express ferry from either Put-in-Bay or Kelleys Island to Port Clinton. From Port Clinton, you can take a Greyhound bus or other regional bus service to Toledo. Once you reach Toledo, you can use the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) bus services. Take the Route 5 bus towards downtown Toledo and get off at the stop closest to N St Clair St. Walk north on N St Clair St, and the Toledo History Museum will be on your left at 425 N St Clair St.
